A Future Corporation Pty Ltd (ACN 078 538 002) (“FC”) is an Australian software developer producing advanced graphics design software for the design, craft, sign, print and machining industries worldwide. As a software-focused business operating primarily through digital distribution, FC recognises that responsible environmental management is both an ethical obligation and sound commercial practice.

This Environmental Statement sets out FC’s environmental policy. It is reviewed periodically and may be updated to reflect changes in FC’s operations, applicable law and prevailing practice.

1. Environmental Policy

FC seeks continuous improvement in environmental management, the prevention of pollution, and the encouragement of sustainable business practices. As a developer of software distributed predominantly by digital download, FC’s principal environmental impacts arise from energy consumption, computing infrastructure and the physical materials used in its business operations.

2. Commitments

FC aims to: comply with the environmental laws, regulations and codes of practice applicable to its own operations; minimise the environmental impact of its software development and distribution activities, including through energy-efficient computing infrastructure and digital delivery methods that reduce reliance on physical media, packaging and printed materials where reasonably practicable; promote digital documentation, online support resources and electronic communications in preference to printed materials, and encourage customers, dealers and partners to do the same; seek to minimise waste and the consumption of resources, including energy, water, paper and consumables; promote recycling and consider recycled or sustainable materials where it procures physical goods; consider environmental factors in business and procurement decisions and encourage suppliers and business partners to adopt responsible environmental practices; encourage employees and contractors to be aware of, and act on, their environmental responsibilities; and keep its environmental practices under periodic review.

3. Digital Distribution

FC distributes its software primarily by digital download. Digital delivery can reduce reliance on physical media, packaging, printed documentation and physical shipping. FC encourages the use of electronic invoices, online activation, online documentation and digital support channels, and endeavours to work with its hosting and infrastructure providers to understand and, where reasonably practicable, reduce the energy consumption associated with its online services.

4. Governance

FC’s management is responsible for the oversight of this Environmental Statement. Staff are expected to support FC’s environmental commitments in the conduct of their work. This statement is reviewed periodically and updated as necessary.
